I'm selling my Dell Inspiron 600m laptop (still under warranty) and want to scrub it of all personal information, etc. Any recommendations on how best to do this?? Thank you ahead of time for your help.

    I love you guys!

    Welcome,

Are you selling it with a Operating System on it?

I was planning on selling it with Win XP and the latest Microsoft Office still installed.

I'd restore the factory configuration from the restore partition, update it to the latest patches, and run something like Eraser to scrub all the unused disk area.
