I have two files (slide shows) that I need to send for a test view before a wedding.
One file is 160mb the other is 260mb.
Comcast email file size limitation (25mb) prevents emailing them.
I tried 7zip but the zipped files are still much too large to send.
Is there another route/method that I might take to get them sent for a preview?
I use Google's gmail. It too has a size restriction. But, if you upload the file to Google Drive, and then provide a link to that Google Drive file in the email. Then there is no size restriction.
As lunarlander mentioned, G-Mail would (should) ask you to upload to Drive and send link as an attachment. Outlook Online/One Drive does the same thing.
Question. I am curious regarding this matter. File size. Is the link the cloud provider sends to email recipient temporary? Naturally, you don't want to share your cloud service password with anybody.
When I wish to share a file that is on gdrive, and select share, I get the link at another email address and that is the link I send to whomever I want to share it with. I have the option at anytime to remove sharing. Whomever I give the link to does NOT have my gdrive credentials.
Good to know Liz. Thanks.
When you send that link, does that mean the person getting that link is able to view the file at google drive or download it to his/her computer?
I do not use gmail or outlook. I do not wish to set up separate accounts for another "service". I'll just have to let her pick up the DVD with the files I suppose.
Thanks for your replies.

You might want to reconsider. Google with its Google Drive gives you 15GB of free storage. The only thing you require is a free Google account. A Gmail account is not required. Just use your existing email address whatever it is when you create the Google account.
According to Google support:
Google Accounts don't have to use a gmail.com address. You can associate any existing email address with a Google Account.
