Hi, I tried looking in your forms for an answer for this but to no avail.

I noticed the other day that when I went in the the Local Area Connection screen on my computer that i was sending more packets than receiving. The margin isn't in the millions, for example if there is, 30000 coming in there are about 35000 or so going out. The numbers rarely change and don't go up very much unless I'm surfing the web. I ran an anti virus check and an anti spyware check and came up empty handed.

I have a windows xp pro sp2 OS and a dlink dir655 router thats on a cable connection. My virus scanner is an avg free edition and my spyware scanner is windows defender.

Should I be worried about this at all?

Not really. If you're really curious, try taking a look at what's happening using WireShark. :)
