Sending page or link

When I click on "Page" (near the upper R/H corner of any web page) and then go down to "Send Page By Email" and "Send Link By Email" I find they both are grayed out and do not function. I'm sure there's a simple way to fix this but I'm not a computer wizard by any stretch of the imagination. HELP!

Click "File". There should be a "Send link" among the options. At least there has been on the several browsers I have used.

Your primary mail program will be used.

OK, I've searched my home page over and over but no "File" is to be found. Can this problem be linked to using Yahoo mail rather than Windows mail?

For IE, rt-click the window near the top and select "Menu Bar".
Set a default Mail program in Control Panel/Internet Options/Programs
