For a couple of weeks , everytime I check my email, my inbox is flooded with mail delivery failure notices. I have done a virus
scan and a malware scan and nothing seems to help. Can someone please help me get rid of this problem?

    Carl

I have the same thing going on for the last several days on my wife's PC. It is a Dell running Windows VISTA and Outlook 2007. Could really use some help.
I have run Spybot Destroy, Malwarebytes Anti Malware, MS Essentials, CCleaner, and nothing comes up.

Her mailbox is generating a ton of emails that are returned as non deliverable. When I look at the email originator, most are coming from Yahoo email addresses and something called eclarity.

    Any ideas wood be appreciated.

For Yahoo!, 2wilmat1, change the password. That usually stops that spam.

maineac60, seemingly sent from your computer or just your email account? If the latter, change the email account's password.

My inbox shows dozens of Mail Delivery System Mail Deliver Failure messages. When I look deeper at the message, it seems to be sent from spam at emerald.synocor

The actual addresses that they are coming from are all different addresses that I do not recognize. Several of them are Yahoo addresses but there are many more address names than that.

My Internet host server is very secure. I think someone has captured my email address and is sending auto generated emails to it but do not know how to stop it.
