If you open VLC and find that the songs you play are set to repeat over and over that could be the problem. I don't use VLC so I can't give you a direct point of reference, but typically there will be an arrow that is shaped in a circle to indicate repeat mode. If you hover your cursor over these buttons usually it will show a little window indicating what they do. So try turning repeat mode off.

NOYB, I am losing my mind. I don't understand any of the setting.
1) I make a logo online and it won't let me save it as a PNG...it 'thinks' that it is a family picture and only shows in a picture viewer. I need it on my hard drive to upload to my website or FB ad
2) trying to save templates of my printing area for design. There is no way to 'save as' Jpg

Appreciate the help and advice of where online is win10 FREE training.
Thanks,
Serry

That VLC "loop" setting is in the Playlist .... Click on the icon to toggle on/off

Can you attach the picture here - or link me to it ???
"Online" .. Where ???

I don't know what Image viewer/editor W10 (Microsoft) uses .. or you're using ...
But I'd suggest using/learning Irfanview
