This is a WinXP server that we use for re-imaging (Ghost.) Every 2 weeks, the server reboots itself at the exact same time, then reboots. The event log only shows that the machine has shut down unexpectedly. We checked the power source, and have switched out the UPS device also. Neither has helped.
It seems that there is some setting either in Windows (or CMOS) that is "scheduling" a shut-down/reboot. Any ideas?

Thanks,
J

Have you looked at MSCONFIG/Startup or the Registry to see if there is anything running in the background at startup that might be causing this?

Or look at the Scheduled Tasks in XP.

Or start a cmd prompt and see if there are any AT jobs loaded.

That would be an amazing temp coincidence in the CMOS for every 2 weeks, the server reboots itself at the exact same time.
