I'm trying to install Windows XP Service Pack 2 on my computer, and I got an "Access is Denied" error message when trying to install it. There is only one user account on this computer, and it has administrator rights. Whats the problem?

The file svcpack.log that those instructions tell me to look at is about 717kb of plain text. Is there anything specific I can search for? Because from what I can tell, there isn't any registry specific 'tags' i can search for in the file.

Add the log as an attachment to your post and we'll see if we can help sort thru it.

Well I just went ahead and reformatted my computer. Wasn't too big of a deal, just copied my data to my secondary hard drive. It was probably time for a good reformat. Thanks anyways.
