A have a set of problems on my Acer Aspire 5100 Laptop.
    The problems are as follows:
    1. The Laptop does Hibernate,but when I resume it,it wont !
It would just get stuck on a black screen after windows 7 is resuming message appears.
HIBERNATION IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH ME.
    2. Tried to install Microsoft Office Professional 2010 with a legal disk.
Laptop Hibernated first due to low battery
    Crashed on resume.
Encountered an error after attempting a second install of office.
Tried Office Uninstaller and Revo Uninstaller .
    Didnt help.
Windows Installer Cleanup utility just added to the problems.
Now when I try to uninstall Office the Laptop just shuts down and restarts normally as if nothing has happened??
    NO MALWARE HERE.
    MALWAREBYTES,SAS,Kaspersky Used.
    No detections found..

3.Last but not the least problem.
When i copy something from techguy.org eg. Hijack this log entries the whole IE8 just hangs up always.
Copy works fine on all other sites and does works seamlessly with address bar
Also works in the reply window

    Any kind help is appreciated

Windows Installer usually won't work in Safe Mode, but here's a workaround. I'm not sure if it's the same for Windows 7, but it does work for XP and Vista:

    Reboot into Safe Mode.

    Open a Command Prompt window.

Type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each one:

    Code:
    REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\MSIServer" /VE /T REG_SZ /F /D "Service"
    Code:
    net start msiserver
Double-click on the .msi file for the application and uninstall the application from your system.

Sorry Phantom010, but its not safe mode..
I tried uninstalling it with revo uninstaller.
When it ran the default uninstaller,
I terminated the process and then revo uninstaller removed the entries and files manually.
    It just did the work.

The remaining problems such as IE8 and Hibernation still haunt me.
