I run the only internet cafe in town and have Antamedia Hotspot Software for Wi Fi users who visit with laptops. I have been asked if I could provide a wireless Hotspot for customers within a 10km radius of my shop.
My current wireless router is good for approx. 100 metres away from my shop. The Town is reasonably flat and is surrounded by large hills.
    1. I firstly want to establish a wi fi connection to my daughters unit approx. 700 metres away as the crow flies and my shop has a high roofline that I could place an antenna onto.
    2. What Antenna should I purchase to mount on my roof and would I need another on my daughters roof?
    3. My Hotspot software requires an account to be created which comprises a Username & a Password so as to Login to the Hotspot. If NO time is set then they need to purchase more time before they can get internet access.
    4. Can someone please advise on the best way to setup this wifi Hotspot?

    Hi and welcome to TSG.

How much money do you plan to spend? You will probably need a few hundred specialized access points to provide WiFi service so that anyone having a laptop with typical WiFi hardware can connect anywhere within a 10 Kilometer range of your location. You will also need permissions and power sources to mount and operate these access points.
