Until I clean reinstalled my W7 x64 Ult system I could set column positions in WE and apply it to all folders. Now that box "Apply to all folders" is grayed out.
How do I fix this please???

Apply to all Folders is not available if you open Folder Options from the Control Panel, or if you were in Computer, Favorites (Not IE Favorites) or a folder that is contained in a Library.

You have to open it from the Organize | Folder and search options when not in one of the three named above.

For example for My Documents, you have to go to C:\Users\<User Name>\My Documents, not Libraries | Documents | My Documents
