When I open inf files like (DRVSPACE.INF) or any other file that is inf, It opens in note pad and there are big bold circles, and lines and letters, boxes, some have hands pointing right or left, its like some code or symbols. There is no words just these codes . I tried to copy a file I opended to show with this message but when I pasted it, it was typed words ( Like it should be). Can anyone tell me what this
is and what I can do to fix it.
    MY pc is
    Microsoft Windows 98 4.10.2222 A

I did not get the 98 cd when I bought the Computer so I have no CD resource. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Your notepad text must be set to something like wing dings. change font in notepad to something different.

I don't understand why you would want to open them, most are coded and don't make anysense to anyone except a programmer.
