    Hi everyone,

I use Microsoft Security Essentials as my main anti-virus program. When I got home from work today, I had a warning note that said a Trojan:Win32//Alueron.FK was detected, as of today 12/13 at 3:43am. As I was on the computer, another noticed popped up in the history, same detected threat, at 6:48pm. I also noticed that the same threat was detected on 12/11 at 4:48am.

Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, and I have the program set to automatically remove severe threats. However, the scan this morning at 3:43 quarantined 3 of my desktop programs, Spotify, NBC Direct, and my webcam software. The NBC direct and webcam software came installed on my computer, so i know there's nothing inherent wrong with them, and I've had spotify for months. The icons were removed from the desktop and the file names were listed on the virus report.

I don't know much about trojans, but are these programs infected? Do I need to permanently delete them? Is there something larger going on, since I got this notice twice in one day? I'm not sure how to approach this. I copied and pasted the full information provided by security essentials below. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice anyone might have!!

    Category: Trojan

Description: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.

Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

Security Essentials detected programs that may compromise your privacy or damage your computer. You can still access the files that these programs use without removing them (not recommended). To access these files, select the Allow action and click Apply actions. If this option is not available, log on as administrator or ask the security administrator for help.
