I run WINXP PRO on a new box I just built. I have a microsoft explorer optical mouse and a Sylvania flat panel monitor.

When I surf the web and my pointer passes over a link the entire picture on the monitor sort of shimmy's or shakes like a bowl of jello. My old pc didn't do this.

What is happening and how do I fix it?

    Thanks!

    John

I'd use a process or elimation. If you still have your old PC then try the LCD panel there or on any computer you have access too. You can also try the old monitor on the new PC.

Or it could be that the video card driver is not installed or not installed correctly.

Also, is it a specific link that you hover on, if so what is it? Is it all links? You have to give a little more information than "when my pointer passes over a link".
