How do I do this - share a media file player (not WMP), so I can listen/watch files in every pc in the house?

Thanks

Two choices:

1. Share the folder or folders that contain the files you need. Run the media player of your choice on each system and connect to the share.

2. Use Windows Media Player or WinAmp which basically does the same thing.

In any case, no matter how you do it, you will still need to install a client on the destination system.

I ain't knowin' exactly how to designate each 'other' machine as a client tho'...

My router does list each machine on my network as a client - I ain't supposin' that's what yer meanin' by client installation???
