shared hard drive on LAN

    I know it is possible, but how do I set up a hard drive to share on a LAN? Current setup is a MBP and iMac sharing a linksys e2500. I would be shooting for at least 1TB for shared usage but that can be worked out later.

    you would need a device that is network enabled - usually called NAS Network-attached storage
    Various models on the market

    OR
    if you already have the drive , then you would need a device that connects to the USB drive and the network router
