I have a laptop running Windows 7 and a Desktop running Windows XP. The desktop is connected to a HP Deskjet F4280 (or something like that). I have set up the workgroup and everything and the printer is shared and I have added the printer to my Windows 7 laptop. I have done this before and it has worked.

However...now I am getting the error: "Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close" on the Desktop when i try to print anything from the laptop.

When i added the printer I was able to print a test page but now I can't print anything because I get that error on the desktop. I haven't changed anything since I added the printer to the laptop and printed the test page so why is this happening ?

Please help, I really am begging you. It's driving me crazy :(

It's your Printer Spooler Service Issue, Try to restart the service & make sure its set to automatic. Check Event Viewer to find out what is causing this issue.

Top suspect here would be the printer drivers I believe. Try downloading the latest and installing them.
