OK...here's the situation. A user has an HP Deskjet 2200C Printer hooked up locally via Parallel Port. His workstation is running Windows ME. The device works fine when printing from the user's workstation. I made the printer a shared device and installed it on another workstation which is running Win2KPro. I installed it with the latest Win2K driver DLd from HPs website. Test page does not print properly. Went to printer properties and selected "additional drivers" under "Sharing" and installed the same WinME driver on the user's original box. Test page fails to print at all. Any thoughts?

Did you try to install the printer directly on the XP computer, deleting the driver from the ME computer, then adding it again by connecting the networked printer and having XP install the driver?
