Sharing internet 98SE>95 laptop

    I have win98SE on desktop, connected to a cable modem. Have laptop with win95. Can network the two together to share files, but laptop can't use the cable modem! How can I fix this? I'm poor, (on disablility), so need a cheap fix...lol. Would like to update files or even surf the web with laptop on cable...

    You could always try ICS.

    But personally I would use a Cable Router. They are not that expensive, serve as a reasonable firewall, a lot easier to configure than ICS, and don't require one computer to always be on for the other(s) to access the Internet.
