I was given a HP nc8000 laptop. It has Windows xp.The shift key is not working. So the symbol keys above the numbers will not work. You can hit Caps lock and get the alphabet letters to be capitalized but the shift button will not capitalize them. Thank you for any help you can give me.

www.exenerd.com will fix 594 error problems but they request your e-mail and the a with circle above the 2 will not show.So I can not fix. The same thing happens in HP SUPPORT. I can not open chat because of e-mail not displaying. Thank you for your help.

All the keys in sticky keys are set correctly that is what Leo recommends. hp recommends doing a F.52 Download which I did but at the end of download they said it was the wrong download, and that is the number they gave for my computer. i'm at a lost...
