Shortage of Virtual memory

    Hi Mark, and welcome to TSG.

    Increase the maximum PageFile size allocation if you have the free space on your system hard drive to do so. An even better solution would be to install more system RAM and/or reduce the number of programs you have open at one time. The use of virtual memory on a hard drive is much slower than running everything in hardware RAM.

    FYI, the Tech Tips & Tricks forum is for sharing tips and trick you have found with others. You should click the report link for your post and ask a moderator to move this thread to the correct operating system forum (XP, Vista, 7, etc.). Wait for them to move this thread for you. Do not start a duplicate thread for the same problem.
