    I recently disinfected and..."fixed" some infected files with hijackthis
    see thread at:

    my last hijack fix

    After all was over and done with there is one last question
    there is one file --[disinfected]-- that still shows up and I was wondering if I should eliminate it.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\GHGZOXIH\WksPatch[1].exe - Win32/HLLW.Nachi.B.dam#2 -> Infected

    Yes, delete it. If it won't go peacefully, do it in safe mode.

    Cool, but like $teve said, I would have dumped the whole folder. I have no TIF folder really. It is there, but it gets dumped on every close of the browser except for the cookies I have elected to keep. :) This site is one of the ones I keep.
