Any there are free solutions to shrinking power point files? I used the trials for PowerShrink and PowerPress, and they were able to shrink 150mb PP files into 1.2mb PP files... And so far, I can't tell a difference between the two.

So the program I can purchase will do the job, but I just wanted to see if anyone had a free solution for doing so. Submitting Purchase requests at work are not fun and take forever =/.

The cheapest solution would be to use smaller graphic and/or video files in the presentations. Lower the resolution on pictures and use a better compression type for video.

Tried that =/. The total size of all the photos is 4mb. PP even has an option that compresses photos. Tried that and the presentation went from 150mb to 147mb.

Boggles my mind on why the file would be 150mb.

Hope that the free suggestions from MS work as good as the trial software.

It looks like there a few tips in there that may help. I have to admit though, this trail app is a two click process and cuts 98% of the size off. Pretty slick hehe.
