Ok I'm confused! I have included hijack this logfile to see if there's malware somewhere, and I may need help with dll file problems. Service control manager error messages in the system section of event viewer. in application section of event viewer there is Net runtime 2.0 error, and control service manager. I am also noticing that Media player network sharing service running, and windows explorer is running also. Believe it or not I'm not running slow!

First I noticed after the last update many weeks ago that I couldn't save frontpage sheets, it tells me once in a while that I have run out of temporary memory. It told me I didn't have the authorization to save the file, so I started to use Dreamweaver for html documents.

Zone alarm said while Dreamweaver trying to launch, and is using temporary file, or use another program to gain access to privileged resources. I click ok, but once in awhile Dreamweaver (?) tells me I am running low on memory.

I can't save photos that I only made smaller and tried to compress for sending out. Tells me I don't have the authority.

I thought it was a registry problem, so I used registry Mechanic, and it found over 200 errors which I fixed. Now I consistently get errors in temp CHK area the reg mechanic finds. I keep getting popups from zone alarm that there's class changes (at least 5 times) with the letters chk mentioned there.

I thought it was a registry problem so I thought I would uninstall (shut down), then reinstall paintshop Pro 7. Everything went fine, but when I tried to install the update it said that msvcp60.dll is in use and that I have to shut programs down ( btw I did shut everything, and even closed AVG. and zone alarm before this).

BTW Windows Cardspace (in control panel) won't open box pops up saying "can't be started. you may be running a non ntfs or service may have been disabled by administrator" in box. As you can probably tell every service is either manual or automatic.

I did find I had an ad ware problem. AVG found it, generic2.ahv or the byxxxuu.dll file.

Although I googled and searched on AVG with no info available. Guess this is a new one.

What are the next steps? After you find a virus?
