I have newly installed Fedora Core 3.0 in my AMD Athlon 2400+.When selecting shutdown from x windows as well as from command line using either "shutdown or poweroff" the power is not completely down therefore i had to manually switched off to down the machine completely.I'm using a cabinet with ATX functionality, using windows os and selecting shutdown the machine is completely down but in linux the power LED is on as i'm using a dual boot windows/linux.I'm listing the services details during shutdown.if anyone knows what is the root cause please help me.

    Halting system OK
md: stopping all md services OK
md: md0 switched to read-only mode
    shutdown: hda
    power down
    acpi_power_off called.
