Simple question. I'm looking for documentation to describe the difference between "logoff userid" and "restart". What are the differences to the system.

Any insight or direction will be greatly appreciated.

As far as i am aware ..

Logoff will unload all programs in use and log off the person logged on.

Restart will do that al well as clear memory.

In short, logoff is just a faster way to switch users.
