ever since i tried to install the latest updates fromm microspft udate site today (all of which failed) my computer keeps shuting down without warning.

it just suddenly clicks of and reboots for no reason. has anyone else experienced this? or does anyone have any suggestions i might try as the last two critical updates just wont install no matter how many times i try

It would help LOADS if we knew what OS you're using...

That apart, you might want to post a "Hijack This!" log, that'll help even more!

Have you considered your cooling fans? When a system reboots for no reason, then heat is generally responsible. Afterthat, look at hardware. RAM for one thing. Your log looks average. No virus etc etc
