shuting down!

    Well i got my computer like 3 weaks ago maybe 4, and it randomly shuts down and says configuring windows. do not turn off. And when i turn it on it says the same thing what should i do?

    Windows 7 may have a lot of updates to be done since your computer is new and 7 has been out for a while now. Like any previous versions of Windows there are lots of updates. Also sometimes there are updates on updates or when you add new window features.

    Hi,
    As said, lots of updates and they require re-boot and they load/install on closing down & restarting. Just have to put up with it I think.
