I have looked through the other posts and see some similar to my problem but can't seem to find the exact problem or answer so I am sorry if it has already been answered. Here it goes!! Almost every single time I open up the internet I get a message saying the Internet Explorer has experienced a problem and needs to close down. This sometimes happens every 5 or 10 seconds. When I click on the information button this is what it says: AppName:iexplorer.exe
    AppVer:6.0.2800.1106
    ModName:mfc42.dll
    ModVer:6.0.8665.0
    Offset:0005bf55
I went to microsoft.com and it said something about it being Xupiter and to go to the Xupiter webxite and uninstall it so I tried but everytime I did this message came up again. When I tried to go to the Add/Remove program the same message came up except instead it said Windows Explorer has experienced a problem.... Please help me it is happening more and more frequenlty and I feel like throwing my computer out of the window! PS i am not very computer savvy

Hi compgirlie, Welcome to TSG !!
    Go here and get Spybot:
    http://www.safer-networking.org/
Download it and install it. Click on Search for updates. Download all the updates. Then close and rerun the program. Check all the red entries it finds and click remove. After that get Hijackthis:
    http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/#quick
Follow the instructions and paste the results here.
