Hi!
I have this problem since I last installed Windows.
When I shut down the computer it takes it up to 5 minutes to turn off. This happens when I use the special key on the keyboard, because if I try to shut it down from start menu>>turn off the same amount of time is required for the prompt with Shut Down...Restart and Stand By to appear.
This is not to annoying, but it becomes so when I have to reboot after an installation or something.
I managed to take a video recording of the screen and this is what it came out:
at first all goes well...it prompts: "Windows is shutting down..."
and it stays like so for a while and then...very quickly: "Machine group policies finished."
and : "Stopping Windows File Protection..."
finally "Windows is shutting down..." appears again and it shuts down.
What should I do?

I found some of my symptoms there but nothing worked, nothing that I could understand, can you lend me a hand here?
I might think that the solution is simple but I have never experienced such a problem and I have no idea how to solve it.

Go to run and type eventvwr.msc

Check the event viewer for anything that could cause the problem you are looking for or post any errors you find in there for shutting down.
