Hello, I have a Gigabyte 9600GT, I want to update my drivers, but I would like to get NVIDIA drivers, not GIGABYTE drivers, as the nvidia ones have something I need.

So my question is can I update my graphics card using drivers from nvidia? The card's vendor is basicallyNvidia, so will it work?

Sure you can use the nvidia reference drivers. Do make sure you uninstall all of the gigabyte software/drivers before you install the nvidia driver.
