Simple File View Question

    Hello! I have a very simple question.I want the view in all my folders to be "Details".I am using Windows XP Home edition.Thanks, Jane

    Have you tried.

    Tools > Folder Options > View

    ...and just be sure there's a check where it says "Remember Each Folders View Settings."

    FYI - I prefer My Pictures folder to be viewed as Thumbnails, however it frequently switches back to the Icons view on it's own. Another folder switches to Lists, even though that's never been how I've viewed it. :confused:
