Simple Question

    is there anyway that 2 different people on different units have the same
    IP address if so what situation?

    yes if they are connected to different networks.
    so if you are behind routers
    the routers will have different IP address connected to the network
    but both PC can be on 192.168.0.1

    but only one can be properly connected to the netwoek at a time
