Installed Simply Accounting basic 2007 release A on Vista. Automatic Update called for the update Release E (Canada). Downloaded it, but on install the message came up saying program may not have installed properly and I clicked to reinstall using recommeded install compatibility. Simply runs, but shows as Release A and not release D.

However, I used the restore feature to load a data backup from my wife's PC with Simply Accounting Release E. It seems to run fine.
When I click check for update, it says there are no updates.

So, I am showing release A, but used data from release E. Is this a Vista compatability issue with Simply whereby Release E does not display or did release E never install? Quite confused.
