Sims Crashed

    Help please.....i have been playing sims deluxe edition and no problems,(windows xp home)512 ,ati radon graphics card and using 16 bit colors. Installed ll ,hp ,hd and ul, no problems for about a week then whole thing crashed! Pc is still working fine but Sims won't reinstall and play! I uninstalled it,everything! Then reinstalled....gets past loading screen then BOOM crashes! ? Help!? PLEASE!!!!!!!! :eek: :( :mad:

    It gets passed the loading screen? Looks like you have a problem with your neighborhood that comes up directly after loading. Uninstall The Sims. Get "Sims Eraser" from thesims.com Restart your PC then reinstall, restart, and you should not have any more problems. If you do, it could me memory related. The Sims is a Memory Hog. If you still continue to have problems, I suggest contacting Maxis.

    thanks....tried all that and am getting pretty pissed...i hope sims2 is better! Thanks again Connie
