That happens at times when the servers are overloaded. By sys info, I take it you mean the TSG Status page showed no problems? Did you e-mail Mike with the URL and server number as per the instructions on that page? :)

Are you still receiving the 503b error messages or have things settled down now?

What were you doing when this occurred? If you were doing searches, that does happen at times because the search feature is not strong enough to handle such a large site.

Anyway, if it occurs again, please follow the instructions in the message (either e-mail Mike with the URL and server number you were on at the time or post that information in this forum where he'll see it). :)

If you have something waiting to be pasted you could paste it into a Word or other type of document temporarily so as not to lose the information.

i have not received one since the one i reported

i was coming back to a post after searching offsite for some information to give to the poster

i thought it may be the browser so i closed it and then could not open up the forum again and received that message

So it was a one time thing that happened? Your first post says you were having problems "all day" so I assumed that you were getting this message multiple times or was it just slow responding? :)

Were you using search or quick links drop down menus to find subscribed threads to post to? Because those are functions of search and can produce that error even if the servers are not overloaded.

So you're saying you can reproduce the 503b error now by clicking on the link in the e-mail notification you received? If so, please post the URL to the 503b error page that you get.

Also, please post the link from the e-mail here and I'll see if it happens for me as well.

Well hopefully it was just a glitch and won't happen again but if it does please report back here and copy the URL from the error 503b message.
