Hello. I have been using a website called teenchat.com for a few years. As long as I've been there, bots have been present once in a while. A few months ago, bots had shown up like crazy, crashing the site and it would be unusable for a few days and then work again. There is a specific user who was doing this. Now the site has been down almost 3 months and not only do I wish to use it, but I know others do, too. There used to be gender and age selections available and those have disappeared so no one can log in. The site owner is not an active participater and I wouldn't have been surprised if he suddenly died because he never responds to e-mails or logs in. Please help me, any is appreciated!

Truly, I don't see how anyone can help you with this issue on this forum. If the site owner is not responding, there's basically nothing we can do to intervene.

I understand, but I wonder why if someone who is not the owner can bring the site down, someone else who is not the owner can't bring it back up.

How would they bring it back up without administrative access to the site, though? If someone is attacking the site, then that would be a law enforcement function (should the site owner go down that route). Since the owner is not answering any messages, they may have decided to abandon the site entirely.

Well, I was thinking someone could attack the site in a different way, perhaps, but thanks for your help.

What you're advocating is illegal, so it certainly won't be done by anyone on this site.

Right, I understood that after you told me it was a law enforcement issue. I was just stating what I previously thought could be done which was why I came to this site even though I know it can't now. I do not intend to have things done illegally on behalf of anyone on this site. Peace.
