So. i played through on one character and reached level 30. I decided to make a new game. For some reason all the vendors and about every character i encountered had level 15-30 items on them. But i am only level one. I want to start the game fresh but the vendors wont reset their items neither will anyone else. It seems that everything is set on a permanent LVL. I Deleted every file i had under skyrim including save games, uninstalled it and re installed it then i started a new game. Everything was the exact same still. I did it again and this time deleted steam and re installed everything from my disk again. Still the exact same. It's unbelievably aggravating, to the point where it's unplayable. I would be able to ignore the TOO high level vendor items, but all the npc's every where are to much for my little character to handle. How do i reset EVERYTHING to it's defualt? And, no one anywhere i've looked has had the same problem, posted anywhere. This is, also, is my 5th time posting on forums. and no replies.

Used the installer as you had stated. Started everything up brand new. Same exact thing. -Sigh-

If you've installed it using Steam, it's possible your data is saved on their servers.

Just a guess though, not sure.

To test it, try installing the game on another computer and entering your information in Steam.

Then it seems like the the problem here is that your information is stored on Steam's servers (or at least some other company's servers).

You could uninstall the game a million times and it wouldn't matter. The information you're looking to get rid of isn't on your harddrive.

The only way is to start fresh with a new account.

Thats the problem. THey won't let me transfer the game to the other account nor will they allow my cd key to transfer. The only other thing i can think of was to download a keygen but there is none.

Call Steam support and ask what your options are through their company.

Well if there is no other option, you can use the console to 'cheat' your way to a high enough level with applicable stats.

It's not cheating if you need to do it to make it playable..Sort of. As long as you do it 'moderately enough'.
