slave jumper sets for cdrom?

    does anyone know what the most common jumper settings are for a cdrom- slave?

    oh yeah... and has anyone heard of the manufacturer top glory? supposedly, theyre the ones who made my cdroms...
    ive never heard of 'em.

    Either the middle pins or none but you'll probably have to try them until you get it right.

    Depends on how you want it set up. If it is the second device on a cable or not. If your primary drive is set up for cable select use cable select on the CD-ROM. If the first drive on the cable is set to master set the CD-ROM to slave. It all depende on the first drive.

    If the CD at the end of the cable is set for CS (Cable Select), set your drive to CS also. If the drive currently attached is set for MS (Master) or SL (Slave), set your new drive to the other setting.
