I posted a question about system resources and maybe it was the wrong question.

I have never received a system resources error so here are the symptoms:

sometimes my mouse hangs,
sometimes the sound is choppy,
when I open a new drive it takes a while (sometimes)

Those are the major symptoms, is this a system resources problem or something else? I read the article about start up programs and I am currently working on limiting those programs on start up. I have 512 MB of memory (I now know that that is different from system resources - see I'm learning)

Anyway, if I am working on the right problem let me know.

Thanks

Try this :

Go to start/settings/control panel/system-properties/performance/

& move the button back one notch & see if it helps .

... also keep your cache cleaned out & the startup items to a minimum.
Hope it helps

Savvy :)

oh by the way...whats your processor speed?
