I have not used Maxthon in a very long time, so I couldn't fairly comment on it.

Most malware removal experts I know use Firefox because it's easy to set up to foil adware and trackers.
(Just install uBlock Origin and Privacy badger add-ons/extensions). It has lots of choices.
Suggest as I mentioned before, setting Duckduckgo or Startpage as search and home page.

I would avoid Chrome because Google definitely tracks everything you do, sells it, and does not allow you to install the serious adware blockers.
You can Uninstall Chrome if you wish.

With W10, you will have Edge anyway. It will favor Microsoft data tracking.
Microsoft makes it difficult to use any other browser as the default, (like for when you click on a link).

You can choose whatever browser you want for surfing, even if Edge is the "default".

Thanks askey127 for all your help. I have alot of bookmarks in Google Chrome that I need to transfer to Firefox after I install Firefox. Is that easy to do?

    You're most welcome.
When you first install Firefox, it will likely ask you if you want to import settings from another browser.
Answer, and choose to import from Chrome.
