Slow file transfer

Can anyone help, my W98 pc's are mutch slower then de XP workstations while transfering files from the server. Example: ghost file of 688Mb:
SBS2003 -> W98 4:28 min
SBS2003 -> XP 1:20 min

can you post the specs of your network adapters / which are intergrated into motherboard / which are seperate - are they configured correctly.
