While typing, I have to stop and let it catch up after several words. Also, Opening a page is vey slow especially the first time using it on any given day. I have ran all cleaning and anti-virus software with no help. I am running the latest version of Yosimite with 2mb ram. Could someone please help me.

    Which Mac?
    That's not much RAM.
When computer first starts it generally runs several processes which under limited resources like CPU and RAM can make it even slower.

This happens on my Mini too. It might be due to some process or downloading running in the backend. In my case, I suspect Sophos which update itself and makes the system sluggish. For the CPU you mentioned, it is necessary you get more RAM so that sufficient memory is allotted for your work and OS X. Also, Yosemite can be slow at times due to reasons like 'not enough RAM' and others. What you need to do is check Activity Monitor closely or you can install Memory Diag. You might also need to run Mac cleaner utility once a month or so, if you suspect your boot drive is running out of space.
