    Hello,

I am trying to resolve the slow page scrolling problem that appears after the reinstatement of windows.

I downloaded drivers, directx and silverlight plugins and I also deactivated auto scrolling from browser's options but the problem persists.

Can anyone help? The only problem indicated by the device manager is an exclamation mark next to the VGA device but I can't find drivers for it.

My PC is a Compaq Presario 1500 notebook, P4, 256 RAM with ATI Mobility Randeon 7500 accelerator.

    Thanks in advance

That would be why you have slow scrolling you have no video driver. Install the video driver and the problem with your scrolling will be solved.

I checked again and there is only one graphics related driver to download from the HP/Compaq site.

I have it installed and it doesn't work.

I don't know where else to look for this driver :(

You need to identify the video hardware in your computer and download the proper driver. Try using a program called Unkown Device identifier to figure out what it is. You can download it here: http://www.zhangduo.com/unknowndeviceidentifier.html

You may need to take to it to a trusted local repair shop if you still have trouble.
