    Memory is quite low for XP.....have you defrag lately?

    Thanks for the advice.

    I wiped the machine clean about a year ago and I don't use it very often. I will defrag tonight.

    I'll defrag and see if that helps improves anything. If so I will try to figure out what kind of memory I need to get.

    Know anyway of telling how much memory my PC can handle? (As I said it is about 8 years old)
