    Greetings all...

I have a Q about a hackers ability. Recently my PHP website was hacked by a group of people, and they left a link on my site that would take me to their site. So I followed the link to find out how to get my site back up.

Eventually I was able to get my site back online, but in the process I pissed off several of the groups members. Long story short...I didn't like the way they used racial slurs in every single forum thread.

Anyway...shortly after that, my PC began to run really slow. Is this just a coincidence, or can they actually slow my PC down? I seem to recall having read something, that stated it's possible to ping an IP to lag a PC.

The first thing I noticed was that my anti virus was rendered inoperable. After reinstalling, I found no trace of a virus. Then my programs began to slow to a crawl. No matter what program, it would slow down , or just lockup completely.

My PC is fairly highend, as I built it for gaming. Anything I run on it, should run smooth as "butter".

I have followed protocol to keep my rig clean from different parasites, so I'm quite certain that this issue is related to my run in with these tyrants.

Is it possible for them to do all this, or am I just being paranoid?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance
