    Dear all,

I've loaded Norton Antivirus on my friends Dell computer and now it runs so slowly the computer is unusable. I've subsequently heard that this can be a problem and that trying to uninstall NAV using the uninstall programme is not very effective.

Has anyone got any advice on what to do!?!

    many thanks,

    Neil

When you have gone as far as you can with that site' you can run Serch. useing Symtec&Norton in the serch. You may have a few entrys left.Delete them By
right click & delete. The next one is your regestry.((Start/run/type REGEDIT/OK / My Computer /Find/ find next)). Window will start to look for all registry enterys with Norton & symtec in the name.It will Highlight it in blue (( delete the entry then press F3 and it will serch again. continue doing this untill it say it is finished there may be 20+ or more But please be 100% shure that it says norton in the file name If one comes up without the name in it may be a shared file do not delete it just press F3.
