SLOW, should be FAST, computer problems

    HP Pavilion 533w, 2.OGhz, 768mb (PC2100)Ram, "poopy" on board video,120GB
    HD.... I reformatted about a month ago (partition magic) and installed WinXP.
    It ran fine for a few weeks and now it seems to be dyin' on me! Runs very
    slugish, SPECIALLY when multitasking!! TROUBLE SHOOTING: Turned off all the "pretty's" under system properties>advanced>performance settings: defrag'd: ran spy sweeper & anti-virus... found very little i.e. couple cookies and adware... so I cleaned them out.....ummmm.... basically I tried everything I could come up with......still VERY slugish :mad:
