Hi,

I have two NAS drives directly connected to my router. I am accessing them through my XP laptop's wireless connection. I am trying to copy a large volume of data from one to the other (28Gb).

The problem I have is throughput. I am barely getting 250Kb/s from one drive to the other.
Is there a way to speed this up?

If the copy is directly from one NAS to the other I have no ideas.

If the copy if from a NAS to your computer and then to the other NAS using an ethernet connection instead of wireless should speed things considerably. But even with wireless that's awfully slow; there may be wireless interference or a very weak signal.

Apparently my brand of NAS is notoriously slow, according to google. I did my copying with USB in the end.
