Hello all who read this:

I am having a slight problem with the speed at which my CPU shuts down. It normally should take only a few seconds. Right now it is more like 1 minute or more. I ran my usual suite of antivirus and spyware: Spybot, AdAware, Ez Armor AV and Panda Software online scan. Nothing showed up those scans. Can some take a look at my HJ log? Thanks,

You can fix the following entries with HJT
(checkmark them and click "Fix checked").
Make sure all browser/email/explorer windows are closed first.

O2 - BHO: XNetIEObj Class - {1808648B-3102-4293-8AD3-06AF71D3321B} - C:\Program Files\Endeavors\AppExpress\bho_2_5_5_17070\bho.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe

O16 - DPF: {785EA525-5066-495F-ADF6-3B8316515DEF} (Collapse Control) - http://mirror.worldwinner.com/games/v46/collapse/collapse.cab

O16 - DPF: {FAE74270-E5EE-49C3-B816-EA8B4D55F38F} (H2hPool Control) - http://mirror.worldwinner.com//games/v42/h2hpool/h2hpool.cab

Uninstall Viewpoint via Add/Remove Programs Control Panel.
If it still remains, delete the "C:\Program Files\Viewpoint" folder.

Apart from that, I'm not sure if it's wise to have ETrust, Zone Alarm and Symantec Security all running concurrently.

O23 - Service: SymWMI Service - Symantec Corporation - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Security Center\SymWSC.exe

Is that service meant to be still installed and running?

Thanks for pointing out the things I had overlooked. Time has not allowed me to work on the solutions. I will be looking into it this weekend. As soon as I do, the results will be posted.

Also, remember, when you have a lot of security, which is good, it normally checks drives and directories on shut down. Such as, anti-virus and anti-spyware software...So, extra time..
